The last couple of days I have been travelling quit a bit and also more spontaneous than before. The sense of backpacking came with it and it felt very good! After a quick stop in Fukuoka, Nagasaki was the destination for two nights. The most western city of Japan has also a lot of influence and history from Asia and Europe. Next up was Kumamoto, with it’s landmark castle. An hour by train brought me up to the Aso volcanic area for some more hiking. Finally a more relaxed day in the seaside city of Beppu.
