This journey started with an SMS from Vancouver at 1 am on Thursday… Flying into YVR through YYZ on Friday, a city in party mode after the semifinal win of Canada against Slovakia (hockey); Saturday experiencing the men’s curling gold medal of Canada and the first hockey game in GM Place, sorry Canada Hockey Place (bronze medal game between Finland and Slovakia); Sunday’s win of Canada in the most anticipated event of the games and celebrating the two weeks of competition at the closing ceremony; and Monday back to Zurich on the direct charter with athletes and media: priceless…
