Nine month ago the idea came up to celebrate my birthday with a zero at the end at a special location. Climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro seemed like the perfect adventure for this event and my brother was immediately in. Together with Andr\u00e9 from Globetrotter, they wanted to ascend the mountain with their bikes and this for a charitable cause lava-bike.ch<\/a>. I did the scenic 7 day Lemosho route and they went up the Kilema route, which is for bikes only along the Marangu route. We had daily updates through our satellite phones and planned to meet on the summit on July 14th around 6:30am; which we did within 10min!<\/p>\n
